Boiler Attendant

National Railway Museum

Logo for National Railway Museum

The National Railway Museum is seeking Boiler Attendants to drive the small steam trains (amusement devices) at the National Railway Museum and at the Semaphore and Fort Glanville Railway. Steam train firing/driving experience is desirable, but in-house training will be provided.

Volunteering at the National Railway Museum is a great way to learn more about railway history and be involved with giving visitors a great experience that they will remember. The small train is one of the major attractions at the Museum, and as such this role is very important.
