Are you a warm, friendly person who enjoys connecting with others? We are looking for volunteers to bring friendship and joy to older adults living in in residential aged care.
We currently have a lovely lady living in Sinnamon Park who is a former teacher and would love to spend time with a friendly volunteer who can support her as she works towards writing her memoirs. She would enjoy sharing her stories, memories and experiences through relaxed conversation and companionship.
Many older persons have wonderful life stories and unique experiences to share. They would truly value the company of a caring volunteer who is ready to listen. Whether it’s sharing a conversation, enjoying a board game, reading together, taking a walk around the garden, or simply sharing a cup of tea, your presence can make a profound impact on someone’s day.
