Are you a Spanish/Italian speaker who could visit an elderly in Southport

MiCare is looking for a volunteer that can share a smile and companionship during visits to an elderly lady in Southport.

Visits may be spent talking or sharing in a simple leisure activity together. Your regular visits will make a positive difference in this person's life!

We ask volunteers to commit to weekly or fortnightly visits for at least 6 months, however this is an ongoing role and we hope to support your friendship for as long as possible.

Volunteers receive training, orientation, ongoing support, travel reimbursement and invitations to meetings together with other visiting volunteers.

This program is part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) - an Australian Government initiative.
