As part of this network, you will have the opportunity to:

• Contribute ideas and perspectives on issues affecting vulnerable people.
• Share observations and insights about emerging social challenges within our communities.
• Participate in advocacy campaigns and community awareness initiatives when opportunities arise.
• Contribute to discussions and consultation activities on matters of social concern.
• Add your voice to conversations about poverty, homelessness, housing, and social inclusion.
• Connect with others who share a commitment to creating positive change.

We Are Looking for People Who:

• Care about building a fairer and more inclusive community.
• Want to advocate for people who may not have a strong voice.
• Are interested in social issues, community development, public policy, or social change.
• Bring lived experience, professional expertise, community knowledge, or simply a passion to help others.
• Value respect, inclusion, collaboration, and compassion.
• No previous advocacy experience is required. We welcome people from all backgrounds and experiences.

By getting involved, you will:

• Contribute ideas and perspectives that help inform positive change across Canberra, Southern NSW and Western NSW.
• Learn more about the systemic causes of disadvantage and poverty.
• Connect with like-minded people who care about their community.
• Help ensure that the experiences of people facing hardship are considered in advocacy and awareness activities.
