Volunteer Opportunity: Grant Searching and Grant Writing
Women’s Power of Inspiration Inc. (WPI) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented volunteer to support us with grant searching and grant writing.
WPI is a volunteer-run organisation based in Logan Central, Queensland, supporting women from diverse cultural backgrounds, especially refugees and immigrants, through community connection, practical support, and activities that reduce social isolation and strengthen independence.
About the role
This volunteer position will help WPI identify suitable grant opportunities and assist with preparing strong grant applications to support our community programs and activities.
Key responsibilities
- Research and identify grant opportunities relevant to WPI’s programs
- Support the preparation and writing of grant applications
- Assist with gathering information needed for submissions
- Help ensure applications are clear, well-structured, and submitted on time
- Work with the organisation to support funding opportunities for community programs
