Women's Power of Inspiration Inc.

Women’s Power of Inspiration Inc. (WPI) is a registered charity and DGR-endorsed not-for-profit organisation based in Logan Central, Queensland. We support women from refugee and Asylum Seeker backgrounds to heal from trauma, overcome isolation, build confidence, and develop practical life and employment skills. Through culturally inclusive programs such as English conversation, creative therapy (sewing, knitting, weaving), wellbeing workshops, financial literacy, and community events, WPI creates safe spaces where women can connect, learn, and grow. Many of the women we support face significant barriers including language, displacement, domestic violence, and unemployment. With compassion and dignity at the centre of everything we do, we walk alongside these women as they rebuild their lives and strengthen their families and communities. Volunteers are the heart of WPI. By giving your time, you help women find their voice, gain independence, and feel a sense of belonging. When you support a woman, you uplift generations. We warmly welcome volunteers who are kind, patient, culturally respectful, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of women and their communities.
