Collection Management and Research: • Numbering objects coming into the collection • Entering information in the collection catalogue • Undertaking research on specific objects • Assisting with significance assessment research for individual objects • Assist the Collection Management and Research Volunteer Manager in undertaking basic conservation assessments and notifying management committee when a professional is needed

Curatorial and Exhibitions: • Assist tours of the museum when needed • Respond to enquiries from visitors • Ensure displays are clean and in good repair • Assist with the installation and dismantling of exhibitions • Participate in the acquisition of new objects for the collection • Assist the Curatorial and Exhibitions Volunteer Manager to identify ways to creatively enhance current displays

Exhibitions Maintenance and Repair: • Work under direction from the Exhibitions Maintenance and Repair Manager to create new exhibitions and public programs • Participate in the installation and dismantling of exhibitions • Ensure displays are well maintained and are clean and safe

General Duties: • Maintain a friendly and approachable attitude towards customers, fellow volunteers, and staff and a clean and professional appearance • Respect all equipment and museum property and use with care to avoid unnecessary damage • Undertake the responsibilities of the position adhering to:
