Ex jockey Raymond is looking for someone to share his love of horses

We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit Raymond and enrichen his life. Raymond is lonely and would like someone to talk with. He has been around horses all his life. He misses the track and catching up with friends. Raymond loves the horse racing guide and horse races on TV. He also enjoyed fishing before being placed in care.

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS) supports isolated and lonely people who are receiving aged care services in an aged care home or through a home care package.

The program encourages volunteers to provide friendship and companionship to older people on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
