Seeking Mahjong Volunteer

Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of older people? When you become an Anglicare Volunteer, you join a dedicated team who brighten people’s lives every day.

We are seeking a Volunteer who is an experienced Mahjong player to assist with our Resident Mahjong Group on Tuesday mornings. The group meets to play a casual game within a residential aged care home.

As a volunteer you will offer support, encouragement, and companionship. Your presence helps create a lively, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and involved.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Enjoys spending time with older people
• Is patient, kind, and reliable
• Can commit to a regular weekly/fortnightly volunteering connection

You will receive excellent support from our dedicated staff and should find your time volunteering personally rewarding as well. Our residents are incredible individuals with rich stories and life experiences that they often enjoy sharing during activity times. They are always eager to connect, as time spent with visitors brings joy and enriches their lives.

Applicants must be over 18 years.
