Butterflies Op Shop Volunteer

Do you have a flair for fashion, an eye for presentation, and a passion for people? Albany Community Hospice is looking for volunteer Op Shop Assistants to help create a welcoming and engaging shopping experience at Butterflies Op Shop and assist with the exciting transition to our new location.
In this role, you’ll provide friendly and helpful customer service, assisting shoppers with purchases and styling advice. You’ll help create attractive merchandise displays to showcase donations beautifully and assist with cash handling, using the point-of-sale system to process sales accurately. The role also involves accepting and sorting donations, ensuring quality items are ready for sale, and representing Albany Community Hospice by engaging warmly with customers and sharing our mission.
With the exciting move to our new, larger Butterflies Op Shop location, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to setting up the new space and help with the transition from our old location. Your involvement will make a difference in creating an inviting, organised shopping experience for our customers.
