Administration support is needed in the Uniting WA Volunteer program to assist the Coordinator with various tasks. Competent on the computer, MS Office applications and able to learn database skills.
The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

You will make a difference, building a valuable social connection and improved well-being with regular social visits. These visits can be once a week for a minimum of 2 hours. The Sunday Mass Service at the MercyCare Residential Aged Care site in Wembley site is VERY important to the spiritual wellbeing of many of the residents. Most of these residents have mobility issues and are unable to walk there themselves or unassisted. Therefore we need volunteers to assist our wonderful residents so they may attend
