The Pyjama Foundation are seeking dedicated volunteer mentors, known as Pyjama Angels, to provide support and guidance to a young person in foster care in the Redlands (and across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria). Volunteer on the days and times you are available.
Approved volunteers agree to provide mentoring and friendship to a young person between the ages of 7 and 17. They commit to spending quality time with a carefully selected young person from a vulnerable or disadvantaged background for approximately 2 hours per fortnight for a period of 12 months. You will not be sitting in an office all day but going out to meet mentees.
