Aged Care Volunteer Visitors (ACVVS) provides FREE social support to elderly people in Sydney. We seek a Greek-speaking volunteer, preferably with Egyptian-Cyprus background to visit a senior resident at a facility in Sylvania. We highly valued our wonderful volunteer and your help will significantly reduce a client's isolation and increase their quality of life.
Elderly people living in their own homes in Arncliffe/Rockdale area would like a volunteer to visit the for around an hour on a weekly or fortnightly basis either chatting over a cuppa, playing board games, reading magazine or books, or going for a walk to a local cafe or park. Volunteering under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme you will make a difference in the life of an older person by helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation improve their overall wellbeing.

The Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) provides FREE social support to elderly people in Sydney. We seek a Greek Speaking Volunteer to contact an elderly person via telephone calls, mail or post card during the lockdown and then face to face visit can start once all the restrictions are lifted. The minimum visitation is one hour per week. we highly value our wonderful volunteers.

ADventure Out is a fun Disability Social group for people with mild to moderate disabilities, operating in the St George and Sutherland Shire. We go out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays to a variety of outings like barbecues, movies, clubs, ferry trips etc. If you are up for a chat and a cuppa with our lovely group and can commit to a day or two a week, we would love to have you onboard. This is a really rewarding experience as you brighten up someones day !
