Learning English is the most important factor in helping new migrants and refugees settle in Australia. You could make a difference to someone by volunteering from one hour a week with our Adult Migrant English Program students.
The SES is designed to empower people to help themselves and others in their communities in times of emergency and disaster. The SES offers an opportunity to participate in and develop a variety of emergency and rescue skills, including chainsaw operations, flood boat operations, road crash rescue and land search. All training provided.
Do you have a spare one hour per fortnight to visit a new friend? We are seeking kind, caring and happy volunteers to help add a little sparkle to the lives of isolated and lonely older people.
