A great opportunity to help a great cause and get some exercise. A level of fitness is essential as you can be required to stand and walk for up to 1 hour in lessons. Each rider has a volunteer leading their horse and most will have at least one side walker in support. (C)

The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.
