The Racial Justice Centre (RJC) is looking for a People & Culture Lead who is dedicated to eliminating racism and racial injustice. You will be responsible for recruiting, onboarding and training new volunteers and leading the development of organisational culture.
The Volunteers primary role is to assist the participants to ride a wave! Each participant has a different disability which can either be physical, intellectual or both. Disabled Surfers Association - SA Branch assist them to enjoy the experience of surfing & ensure they stay safe & injury free in the process. A surfing background is an advantage for volunteers but not essential. However you need to be a physically fit, aged 17+ & be comfortable in the water for periods of up to 2 hours.
Being a Puppy Carer is possibly the most enjoyable way to volunteer. Not only do you get to experience the joy of looking after an adorable puppy for about 12 months – without any of the associated costs, you are assisting someone who is blind to live the life to the full by volunteering your time and care.
