  • Community lunch assistant

    We are looking for volunteers to assist Monday and Wednesday Community Lunches at Tuart Place. Tuart Place provides lunch service for participants on Mondays and Wednesdays, and we require help serving and cleaning. This includes stacking the dishwasher and packing away after lunch.

    Mercy Connect Perth (Supported by Volunteer Melville!)

    Mercy Connect engages trained volunteers, with an educational background, to provide additional support and mentoring to asylum seeker, refugee, humanitarian visa students at a critical time in their settlement in Australia. Families from asylum seeker, refugee and/or humanitarian backgrounds are supported through improving their children’s capacity to negotiate the challenges of mainstream schooling and integrate into the wider Australian community.

  • Volunteer Pet Carer

    Pets of Older Persons (POOPSWA) (Supported by Volunteer Melville!)

    POOPS WA is an incorporated non-profit association staffed entirely by volunteers. Our volunteers are police-cleared and have a Working with Children Check and provide a range of services including home visits, dog walking and transport to/from vet clinics or boarding kennels. We cater specifically for people over 65 years of age – or palliative-care patients of any age – who have no relatives or friends willing or able to take responsibility for their pets in times of need.

  • Volunteer kitchenhand and counter service - Applecross

    Applecross Senior High School (Supported by Volunteer Melville!)

    Volunteers come on any week day from 9.30am to 2 pm to help prepare and serve food for the school’s recess and lunch breaks. Duties include food prep, dishes, general cleaning and selling and restocking food and drinks. Closed in shoes and a current Working With Children card are required and we will supply aprons and headwear.

    The Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons is currently seeking expressions of interest for a Consumer Member position on the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMS) Board of Studies. The RACDS is the accredited body across Australia and New Zealand which regulates and administers the surgical education training program in OMS. The Community Member on the OMS Board of Studies will have a vital role in bringing the community expectations to the decision-making table.
