The Coordinator will commence as a dog reading team volunteer and after two school terms receive training to take on the Coordinator position. The Coordinator will recruit, train, support, manage and give recognition to volunteers within the region. The position will also raise awareness of the Story Dogs brand and services. This is a non paid, volunteer role. This role requires you to have a suitable dog.

A trishaw volunteer will gather interested residents and take them on a gentle bike ride around their local community. You'll be helping older residents in care to maintain their mobility as well as their health and wellbeing - and have fun!
Chair exercise group volunteers bring the energy of a fitness workout but guide people with gentle movements, as participants are sitting comfortably in a chair. Perhaps you have a background in fitness, dance, yoga, physio or Pilates and you'd like to lead a small group. You'll be helping older residents in care to maintain their mobility as well as their healthy wellbeing - and have fun!
HammondCare Braeside Hospital offers rehab, palliative care and older persons mental health services. We're searching for someone to volunteer their time to come and visit to spend time engaging with patients by playing our Reverie Harp, You’ll bring joy to each person every time you enter the room.
