Telelink Connectors and admin support volunteers help support one of the longest running programs to assist people that are blind or low vision to live the life that they choose. The Telelink program provides special interest group discussion's for blind and low vision people all the way around Australia to interact with one another via phone with a volunteer facilitator. The connection volunteer is charged with connecting the groups on a regular connection schedule.

Down syndrome Victoria runs a social group for adults with Down syndrome, we’re called Club21. Club21 has been going in Melbourne for over 10 years and we are very excited to bring Club21 to Geelong! Volunteer to support people with Down syndrome in a fun exercise program: FitSkills FitSkills is an evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. The program runs throughout the term and participants go to the gym together with their matched volunteer once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.

RDA is a voluntary organisation providing equine-assisted activities for people with disabilities to develop and enhance abilities through programs such as riding, dressage and carriage driving. Horses provide vital mental and physical stimulation for our disabled participants, improving their confidence, increasing their autonomy and delivering immeasurable amounts of pleasure. There are many and varied opportunities for volunteers at our centre.
