A safety critical role that requires aptitude and training but can provide great satisfaction. We will assess knowledge of the applicant and supply training if necessary.
Side walking - No experience necessary. Walking beside horse, supporting clients with disabilities as they ride, making sure they stay safely seated on the horse in accordance with RDAA policies. Leading horses - Volunteers with horse management experience to groom and generally prepare horses for our riding sessions with disabled clients, then to safely lead horses in accordance with RDAA safety policies.

Assist workers with a disability in packaging and assembly in a factory environment
We are seeking a handyperson to join our maintenance team. In particular we are looking for someone who will keep the front lawns mowed for our visitors and cafe patrons to enjoy. You will also be required to perform basic repairs, preventative maintenance and maintain the grounds as necessary. ***To be referred to this role an interview with Volunteering Central Coast is required. You will be contacted soon to arrange a mutually convenient time and place. ***
Sailability has a variety of roles available for Volunteers. This organisation provides assistance to people with disabilities to participate in a sailing program. If you are experienced in sailing you can be a skipper, you could be fitting life jackets, or helping them in and out of the boats. Registering everyone at the sessions could be more suitable to you. Vision Australia radio put print to audio, and ensure all members of the community have access to community information and news. Volunteers will receive full training to undertake the role, as well as mentoring from fellow radio volunteers.
