VA is seeking volunteers who can assist with recreation programs being conducted in Frankston on Tuesdays from 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.. The role involves clients with varying vision loss and the program is designed to provide social and recreational opportunities.
Support a client with reaching their goal of running a marathon by the end of the year. The ideal volunteer will help support the client who is low vision around the gym floor. The volunteer will support the client with weights, putting weights away, obtaining weights/equipment. The client has their own program in place and can help guide their requirements and goals along the way.

Our activities run from 9am – 1pm Monday – Friday. This is a fun loving, sociable team who love their jobs and love being part of our members’ lives! The role is varied and there are plenty of activities to get involved in such as Chat n craft, Pilates, morning tea's, bingo and other games, bus outings and much more.
