The volunteer visits the parents home to provide parenting support for the families. The volunteer provides practical help (holding/playing with the baby), friendly support and encouragement in a non judgemental manner. The volunteers are available to engage in adult conversation and be a listening ear. They may assist families to access other community services where appropriate

The Parents Hub supports parents caring for infants and toddlers who have additional needs. The volunteer will support the group facilitators with the weekly hosting of parent gatherings. This group aims to engage isolated families and encourage network building! Wednesdays from 9.30am-10.30am. We do ask that volunteers can commit to the role for 6 months or longer.
