Looking for a role supporting clients closely while engaging in outdoor activities? Join us as a Support Worker! Whether you're a retiree or adventure enthusiast, we welcome you to be an Adventure Buddy on our kayaking tours, ensuring everyone's safety and enjoyment every Saturday and some Fridays.
Are you looking for a role that will take you outdoors while focusing on community engagement? Whether you’re a retiree that loves supporting their community, an adventurous minded, a kayaking or bushwalking enthusiast, or someone who just loves meeting new people, come join our team! Each Saturday (some Fridays), our active community of nature lovers come together to go on a tour or kayaking. As an Adventure Buddy, you play a key role to ensure everyone is included, safe & having fun.
Able to teach guitar and provide some social interaction. Able to work individually on a one to one basis.
Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. You can volunteer as a marshal, timekeeper, photographer or try your hand at scanning barcodes and handing out tokens…..to name a few of the roles we have available.
