Our choirs are all about coming together and sharing the feeling of what it is like making music together – it is a feeling of joy and elation! ACH Group is seeking two new volunteers to assist with the Sing for Joy Choir, based in Glenelg.
Share your love of music with our residents at Weekly Concerts and Special Events. We welcome a range of musical styles, from classical, jazz, country, rock'n'roll and popular hits from the 1930's onwards. As you volunteer sing, play and perform, you'll be providing a great live music experience for elderly people living at HammondCare in Daw Park.
Spend time with an elderly lady living in a residential aged care home in Daw Park. You'll help provide companionship as well as maintain their healthy wellbeing as part of the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.
Bring the gift of music to older people living in Ingle Farm
Some of our elders at our Wayville home really wish to re-ignite their passion for music and in particular being part of a weekly choir. Do you have a few spare hours to visit once a week and get a choir group running enjoying the love of music?
Choir Helper at Port Noarlunga ACH Sing for Joy Choir is growing, & they are looking for another volunteer help! They need someone who loves being around older people & doesn’t mind singing even if they think that they can’t sing! Sing for Joy, Port Noarlunga, is held weekly on a Wednesday afternoon, between 12.30 and 3.30pm to help set up and serve tea and coffee. If you like having a chat or being part of a conversation and learning new things - they would love to hear from you.
The musician volunteer is responsible for bringing their musical talent to perform and bring the joy of music to the residents enabling residents to enjoy favourite tunes and songs and reminisce through the power of music.
