Dhelkaya Health was created on 1 March 2022, the result of an amalgamation between Castlemaine Health and Maldon Hospital, and previous amalgamation with CHIRP Community Health.
Dhelkaya means 'being healthy' in the language of the Dja Dja Wurrung people, so the ultimate goal of 'Healthier Together' is the heart of the organisation's strategy.
Dhelkaya Health is a community-oriented health service, residential aged care and a wide range of community health services.
