Training

Training provided by SCC (WA) is required prior to being cleared to start volunteering as a NODA Volunteer. Further information will be provided once the application has been processed.

Time required

The programme will run on a roster basis with each shift spanning 3 hours. The need for NODA volunteers spans 24/7 NODA Volunteers will be notified via txt messaging (and sometime on short notice) so OPT IN for text messaging is required for NODA Volunteers. We would ask volunteers to commit to a 3-hour shift for any resident. Additional shifts can be allocated upon request and after assessing the conditions of the volunteer.

To complete a Statutory Declaration. Note that the National Police Certificate, obtained through SCC would be at no charge to the applicants.
