No one dies alone (NODA) volunteers

The No One Dies Alone (NODA) volunteer programme brings compassionate volunteers alongside aged-care residents who are in the end-stage of the palliative journey and accompanies them at the bedside until they pass away, so that no one dies alone.
Things to be aware of as NODA volunteers:
a. You need to be comfortable with technology, i.e have a smart phone and can download the app we will use for shifts and training. Guidance will be provided on how to navigate the app.
b. You will need to have a current email address for communications.
c. You will need to be able to respond to shift requests at short notice.
d. You will be utilized in shifts that span 24/7.
e. You will need to notify us if you have had a personal death in the last 6 months.
