Launceston VFC Services are looking for Be My Friend volunteers who are reliable, friendly, and willing to provide friendship and companionship to our clients.

Our Be My Friend volunteers should: • have good communication skills, be reliable, and trustworthy. • be able to follow instructions using a daily run sheet that outlines our clients’ interests.
• be willing and able to assist with clients’ mobility aids into and out of their home.

Your volunteer commitment can work with your availability during business hours through a rostering process.

This role does not require any medical assistance from you to the client.

Launceston VFC Services are an approved Voluntary Work Organisation, this volunteer role can assist in meeting your Mutual Obligation Requirement activity with Services Australia.
