Volunteer Painting Activity Assistant
Location: Residential Care Home, Penrith
Time: Tuesdays, 11:00am – 12:00pm (weekly or fortnightly)
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic volunteer to assist with our resident painting group. No formal training or artistic experience is required—just a willingness to get involved, enjoy painting, and engage with older people.
In this role, you will:
- Support residents during painting activities
- Encourage creativity and participation
- Chat and build meaningful connections with residents
- Help set up and pack away materials
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly and patient
- Reliable and compassionate
- Comfortable interacting with older people
- Interested in arts and creative activities
