Our Cultural Volunteer program is currently looking for volunteers of an Italian background. The role of these volunteers is to engage with residents who would benefit from engaging in topics related to shared culture, religion, language and family history. A day could look like hosting a morning tea (3-5 people), doing one-on-one room visits or generally assisting those who may experience language barriers that hinder their ability to socially engage within the facility.
