Gardening and Grounds Maintenance
Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology supported by Volunteering Queensland
The Abbey Museum is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working volunteers to assist with the care and maintenance of the gardens and grounds.
The gardens are an integral part of the Museum’s visitor experience, and we need you to help to keep them looking beautiful and inviting for our patrons.
If you are happy to work independently but also enjoy a chat and a laugh in a team environment, we would love to have you!
Tasks will include:
- Mowing
- Using the whipper snipper
- Weeding and mulching
- Pruning shrubs and trees
- Planting new garden plants
- Raking leaves
- Picking up sticks
- Using the blower
- General equipment maintenance
The Abbey Museum provides the necessary gardening tools and equipment.
