Australian Refugee Volunteers (ARV) is an entirely volunteer-run non-religious and apolitical organisation that runs exciting programs for children from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds in Sydney. Our excursions are a mix of fun and developmental activities that give our clients skills and confidence whilst allowing them to just be kids for the day! Volunteers collect children, bring them together as a program group for the activity, and then drop them home at the end of the day.
PACT volunteers support children and teens, as well as adult victims and witnesses who need support through the court process. The role of our volunteers is to provide impartial, empathetic support for those who are required to give evidence in criminal courts, either as victims of, or witnesses to, a crime.
