Alzheimer's WA is seeking a dedicated Volunteer Recruiter to assist us Recruit and Manage volunteers, create a warm and nurturing support system, and inspire volunteerism across our community.
Finncare hosts a lifestyle center to enhance the wellbeing of our aged participants visiting for social interaction. We are looking for volunteers to join our team to engage them in arts & craft activities, reading or just having a cuppa. On occasion we may do day trips to local venues and welcome an extra set of caring hands.
To bring joy and social connection to an older person by visiting them in their own homes - in and around the Inner West. You may be able go for a short walk together, go to a cafe or stay indoors for a cuppa and a chat. Approximately an hour a week or fortnight at a time to suit both of you.
