  1. Marine Debris Surveys - Beautify the Beaches of Darwin

    Darwin has a variety of unique and beautiful beaches. A new location will be surveyed each week for Marine Debris which is then sorted and catalogued on the day, adding to a national database. Sites include Lee Point, Casuarina Beach, Rapid Creek and Mindil Beach. With your help we can reduce debris and preserve our beaches. Please call the office (08) 8981 3206 for further information

  2. Twilight Toadbusting in Darwin

    By supporting the Frogwatch/Biowatch organisation, we aim to help reduce and control numbers of Cane Toads in the Top End. After an informative identification session we will head out to targeted breeding sites including Lee Point, East Point, Botanical Gardens and Golflinks to collect Cane Toads ready for humane disposal.     The South Perth Learning Centre is a self-funded not-for-profit located on South Terrace in the South Perth Community Centre. Our objectives are to create a welcoming environment in which people can develop their personal and community lives in a friendly neighbourhood context. We are actively seeking a volunteer graphic designer that can assist with create a program on a quarterly basis for each term (4 in total).
