VA is seeking volunteers who can assist with our SWISH recreation activity being conducted in Bendigo. The role involves clients with varying vision loss and the program is designed to provide social and recreational opportunities.
Fill the much needed role of Volunteer Drivers and help transport our vision impaired clients to their recreational programs with Vision Australia.
We are looking for presenters and technical operators to be a part of our radio team. Vision Australia radio put print to audio, and ensure all members of the community have access to community information and news. Volunteers will receive full training to undertake the role, as well as mentoring from fellow radio volunteers.
Volunteer to support people with Down syndrome in a fun exercise program: FitSkills FitSkills is an evidence-based physical activity program for people with Down syndrome. In this program the person with Down syndrome will be matched with a volunteer partner. The program runs throughout the term and participants go to the gym together with their matched volunteer once a week followed by a meal with other participants and volunteers.

If you have been: • injured or had a family member/friend injured or die • first on the scene at a serious road incident • a witness to a road incident • a driver involved in a serious road incident • an emergency service worker attending a road incident Your story could save a life.
