Brighten the day of our residents by helping them participate in activities. Volunteers are needed to help at our residential centre in Scone with activities, accompanying people in residential care on short walks, sharing interests in music, art, craft, gardening, doing hand massages, painting nails etc.
Your general gardening skills and love of working outdoors will be greatly appreciated in this role. Help keep the grounds and surrounds of our Aged Care Facility looking good for the enjoyment of our residents and visitors. This role involves pruning shrubs, weeding, raking of leaves and watering. Other small, related tasks as directed.
Your enthusiasm and love of the outdoors are required for this role. Tidy up and maintain our existing small garden adjacent to our retirement village. This includes tending shrubs and ground covers, mulching, planting and general garden duties.

This role is responsible for creating, participating in and overseeing all fundraising activities. This will include completing grant applications and liaising with organisations and individuals for the purpose of obtaining donations, as well as running small events.
Our Service aims to get clients out and about with a focus on the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie areas. We are dedicated to getting people who are transport disadvantaged, to a variety of destinations including social outings, appointments and shopping trips. You will assist staff and drivers to ensure that clients are comfortable during their trip and assist with activities and outings organised for our clients.

Volunteers required in our dementia specific Activity Centre's. 3 Centres in the Central Coast located at Gosford, Gorokan and Woy Woy. Key duties can include the following, assisting our Activity Officers with activities, assistance with preparing meals, serving of meals, general kitchen duties, becoming a bus host on our Community Transport bus, which would involve transporting clients to and from Centre. We’re looking for a friendly person who would love to brighten the day of a elderly lady in Macquarie Park. She enjoys English literature, films and philosophy. Ideally we are seeking a Volunteer visitor for weekly or fortnightly visits, spend time having a chat over a cuppa or a short walk around the area together.
Come and join us at our OOSH before and after school care centre and help out with the admin support. We are looking for someone to volunteer one or two days a week for 6 hours a day, during school hours.
