We are seeking a volunteer to join the fortnightly roster to assist in the kitchen and dining room before and during the evening, for the residents of the Vinnies Men’s Crisis Centre. A vacancy is available on a Tuesday afternoon/evening.

Within this role you will be coordinate and manage the kitchen activities to facilitate Cafe 175. You will manage, monitor and participate in the preparation of meals & refreshments by * Assisting with the 12-week menu planning * Allocating food preparation and kitchen tasks * Creating schedules to ensure menu items are available by cafe opening times

As the Cafe 175 Assistant Volunteer, you will be assisting the Kitchen Manager to provide meals to the customers. You will: * serve tea and coffee to customers in a timely manner * ensure supplies are maintained * follow safe food handling & storage directives * take and deliver customer orders * clear & clean tables after each setting * follow instructions
