Choir Helper at Port Noarlunga ACH Sing for Joy Choir is growing, & they are looking for another volunteer help! They need someone who loves being around older people & doesn’t mind singing even if they think that they can’t sing! Sing for Joy, Port Noarlunga, is held weekly on a Wednesday afternoon, between 12.30 and 3.30pm to help set up and serve tea and coffee. As one of the Repair Volunteers, you will assist visitors to the repair cafe to: * fix their broken/damaged household items. You will already have the skills to fix one or more of the following: * electrical/electronic/mechanical items * clothing/bedding/other * textiles, jewellery, toys, woodwork, metalwork, bicycles, * and/or other general items You will be able to provide advice to visitors about whether specific items * can be fixed & the parts needed.
