Everyone is welcome to volunteer at parkrun events. We have heaps of fun, simple and rewarding opportunities to lend a hand for one to two hours on a Saturday morning at parkrun events across Australia. No training is required, roles are fully supported on the day and you can take part as often or as little as you would like. Australian Refugee Volunteers (ARV) is an entirely volunteer-run non-religious and apolitical organisation that runs exciting programs for children from asylum seeker and refugee backgrounds in Sydney. Our excursions are a mix of fun and developmental activities that give our clients skills and confidence whilst allowing them to just be kids for the day!
