We will be planting native vegetation to create Urban Shade Forests, to help cool our cities, create habitat for native animals and connect the local community. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn all about our environment, while spending the day with like-minded people, working together to create Urban Shade Forests!

    Swan Estuary Reserves Action Group, SERAG, is a local group of volunteers who enjoy hands-on caring and restoring health to the A-Class foreshore and bush reserves adjacent to the Swan River Estuary Marine Park on Melville’s river front in Attadale, Alfred Cove and Tompkins Park. Volunteers will weed and/or plant for two hours of a morning, then share a cuppa and cake together (provided) whilst enjoying the beautiful location that they are helping to restore and maintain.

    The Autumn Centre runs the “Have-a-Chat” café which provides members with fresh food daily and hot or cold drinks that our members enjoy while socializing with others in the Foyer or Alfresco area. The Alfresco area is a peaceful place to relax in the shade surrounded by green plants and beautifully hand decorated pots.
