She's won prizes for her knitting skills and absolutely adores reminiscing about the good old days. Plus, she's a huge fan of theatre and art! The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme (ACVVS) is a government funded program to combat social isolation and helps to develop social connections for older persons.

    We have two lovely ladies in need of companionship at an aged care facility in Burwood and in her own home in Croydon. Do you have experience with Dementia? Do you enjoy spending time with the elderly? The resident at the aged care home would love to have a companion to talk to, hand massages and listen to music. She is bedbound and lonely. The other lady lives in her own home and is very lonely. She is 92 and would love to chat over a cuppa.

He is legally blind but loves to get out and about. He enjoys gospel music and heading outside the facility for a coffee. Enjoy a cup of tea together, talk about family or go for short walk.
