Urban Angels are trying to recruit more volunteers to participate in both our regular Mon-Fri meal deliveries and our weekend hot meal deliveries to homeless people. We are trying to find people who are available on various mornings and afternoons.

We are looking for experienced volunteers to become Volunteer Visitors and regularly visit with lonely elderly people living in an Aged Care homes in the Morningside area. SES is open to men and women with a reasonable degree of physical fitness and a passion to get involved within their community. When a natural disaster strikes or an emergency situation arises, DFES’s SES volunteers can be found providing a wide range of volunteer services to help the community.

St John's Phone Coordinators work as part of a rostered team. While on shift, Phone Coordinators are responsible for dispatching the local volunteer ambulance crew as required. Phone Coordinators do not take 000 calls, but are contacted by the central St John's Communications Team with relevant information for incidents.
