Would you like to help residents within the City of Greater Dandenong who are unable to access library branches due to illness, frailty, disability or being full time carers.
We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to assist at our toy library during our Saturday morning sessions. Duties include checking and cleaning returned toys and counting pieces if needed, organising shelves and displays, labelling new toys and setting up and packing away before and after sessions. The Role involves welcoming members and volunteers attending the toy library, assisting members with questions, providing guidance in finding suitable toys and assisting with new members.
We require sorters for our Op Shop located in Gympie. No experience necessary just a friendly face and someone willing to learn. Sorters daily tasks change as required due to the goods donated on a daily basis. Do you have a favourite area? We require sorters for books, clothes, bric a brac, manchester, shoes, jewellery and lots more.
Do you enjoy chatting with parents and young children? We are looking for a friendly and helpful person, with excellent interpersonal skills to assist with the opening and closing of the Toy Library within the main Kwinana Library. Various shifts available. If you are reliable, have the ability to work within Library guidelines, and have a current Working With Children Check and a National Police clearance, this role is for you.
