Volunteers wanted to help restore Woollahra Councils Bushland in Gap Park every Wednesday between 1pm and 3pm. Tools and training provided. Please meet in Lighthouse Reserve opposite the junction of Cambridge Avenue and Old South Head Rd Vaucluse. (adjacent to the Signal Station).
Corporate Bushcare days involves a brief training induction followed by weeding mulching and planting and goes for about 4hrs with a break. Please wear suitable clothes and covered shoes. Want to help restore our native bushland? Bassendean Preservaton Group (BPG) is a local community bushcare group. We are looking for volunteers to help out at our native plant nursery in Ascot on Wednesday mornings, on a regular basis. Also to help out with bushland plantings on occasional weekend mornings throughout the year, mostly in winter. We plant around the Bassendean area, mostly around the foreshore and wetland areas. You are welcome to come on either Wednesdays, weekends, or both.
