Do you enjoy physical work? We have an opportunity to assist with setting up a small community hall with tables, chairs, desks, massage beds, screen dividers, beauty stations, etc. for our monthly "Princess for a Day" pampering day for women who are experiencing hardship.
Casual facilitation (Once a month or more if suits) of a group-friendly simple art/craft project. The HUB Neighbourhood Centre in Inala hosts a very popular weekly Multicultural Women's Group, where local women can come together in a safe and welcoming space to undertake an activity and share a lunch. The group is completely free and mostly volunteer-led. Many attendees have been coming for years and look forward to their weekly social outing with lots of close friendships forged.
Do you enjoy driving and have a current drivers licence? Would you be comfortable driving clients to medical appointments from Victor Harbor to North Adelaide? Duration of trip is approximately 6 hours however start and finish times are variable. You will need to be sympathetic and compassionate. Fleurieu Cancer Support Foundation in Victor Harbor are looking for drivers to work 1 day a fortnight.
