Meals on Wheels Fraser Community has been operating for 56 years in the local area, delivering 2500 each week to approximately 500 clients. Our volunteers find the experience of volunteering for MOW very rewarding, and many have been with us for more than 10 years, and have formed lifetime friendships with staff, volunteers and clients.

The Social Connection Volunteer will support people who feel isolated in building social connections within the local community.
You will be spending time with young people, who are within the out of home care system. Offering an open ear and guidance, while you work on projects together.
You will be matched with families and tasks based on your experience, skills and interests and the family’s needs. We would like you to commit for 12 months and to be flexible when volunteering. The support you are expected to give will vary from family to family and may change during your time with us. We will provide you with adequate training and supervision.
As a volunteer you have the opportunity to make a difference by providing assistance to individuals and families in immediate need. We also seek to build trusting longer term relationships with those we assist to provide other help that may be required.
Volunteers are matched to a resident in an aged care facility or a resident living in their own home according to skills, interests, background, language. Training and ongoing support is provided.

Aged Care Volunteer Visitor required for following areas: Corowa Howlong Albury Deniliquin Riverina Murray region Volunteers will be matched with Home Care package recipients who are experiencing loneliness and isolation. Volunteers will visit recipients in their homes and/or undertake social activities within their communities. Volunteers are supported by Team Leaders
You will receive training upfront, along with extensive ongoing guidance and professional development throughout your volunteering journey. We are seeking a volunteer with a large car who is able to be called on, on an as needed basis to deliver to suburbs including but limited to Elwood, Dandenong, Wheelers Hill and Ormond. Large bags will need to be collected from KOGO Hub located in Caulfield. This role is invaluable as its assists in distributing warm hand made items to the most vulnerable in the community.
Attending court can be challenging and distressing, especially if it is your first time. CRC’s trained volunteers provide information on court processes, where to seek advice, and emotional support to people attending local courts across NSW. Legal advice is not provided in this role.
Volunteer as a Facilitator to guide students through the digital resources and conduct facilitated small group discussion at Courage to Care workshops for Victorian students. The purpose is to help students explore their personal experiences, attitudes and behaviour to empower them to become effective Upstanders when encountering situations of racism, prejudice, bullying or discrimination.
Baler required for local Op Shop. Duties include using baling machine, use wool baling trolley to move bales, use computer to generate consignment notes for bales. Other duties as required. Need to be physically fit.
Warnervale Wellness Centre provides activities, outings and opportunities for socialising for older people living with dementia. Volunteers provide valuable social support and assist with activities.
