The Toy Library needs someone to volunteer on a Saturday from 12-2pm. The job is helping to sort, check and count toys and put them away on their shelves. There is also some carrying of things to cars as needed by the members who borrow toys. The applicant needs to be physically able, they need to have good concentration and attention to detail. We need someone who is available every Saturday. We are a child safe organisation and have procedures in place to keep children safe.

The ideal person for the job will be a energetic problem solver with good communication skills and a knack for detail. You will preferably have experience performing administrative duties and providing support to management. Given the changing nature of the volunteer landscape, we rely on high flexibility. Knowledge on real estate market will be an added advantage.

Are you concerned about the amount of rubbish on our coastline? Adopt a Spot are recruiting volunteers to nominate an area of coastline to manage the removal of marine debris. Tasks will include daily cleans, collation of data (taking pictures of marine debris & reporting back on data via email or social media), disposal of materials in accordance with Local Council rubbish/recycling guidelines and provide community education in sustainable practices.
