Hensman Street Elementary is a small school with a big heart, dedicated to supporting some of the most vulnerable children and families in our community. Through a trauma-informed, multi-age learning model, we create a safe, nurturing environment where every child is seen, valued and empowered to thrive. Our approach places the individual needs and strengths of each student at the centre of everything we do, fostering belonging, resilience and a love of learning. We work closely with families and the broader community to provide meaningful support and create positive pathways for children facing complex challenges.
