Community Services #1 community garden was established to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity and income stress. The project seeks to assist with developing confidence in growing and preparing food, with produce being used to support cooking and nutrition sessions as well as supplying fresh produce to CS#1’s food pantry. The garden volunteer will support the project by maintaining the garden and sharing gardening skills and passion with the local community.

The principal roles of the Secretary are to take and keep rigorous meeting minutes at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the quarterly Management Committee meetings which are to be sent out to all members one week following the meeting date. The Secretary is also responsible for preparing and circulating meeting papers at least one week prior to the Management Committee meetings. The Secretary will also work to support and liaise with the Management Committee President on a regular basis.
