CARAD provides fresh fruit and vegetables, pantry and hygiene items to asylum seekers who do not receive government support such as Centrelink or Medicare. Sort and pack items into bags, ready for clients to collect in the afternoon.
We are looking for Drivers to collect allocation from Second Bite (Belmont) and take to CARAD (Stirling St, Perth) on Mondays at 10.30am and Tuesdays at 8am. No need to commit to every week. We have a roster system so you can help out once a fortnight or even once per month if that's preferred.

Breastfeeding counsellors are trained volunteers who offer breastfeeding information and mother-to-mother support to women whose babies are breastfeeding and to their families. Their area of expertise is breastfeeding support. The counsellors have to have breastfed at least one baby for a minimum of 6 months and hold a current Certificate IV in Breastfeeding Education (Counselling) (or equivalent) and have to complete ongoing training to up d ate their knowledge and skills.

We are seeking women 18 years and over to join our team of Girl Guide Leaders in the Melville and surrounding suburbs. Work with a fantastic bunch of Girl Guides in various age groups of your preference. These established groups meet weekly on various afternoons or evenings (school term only). Girl Guide Leaders are friends, role models and mentors to our youth members. You do not require any Guiding experience, just a positive and caring attitude.
The Friends of Booragoon and Blue Gum Lakes, is involved in revegetation at the lakes. We meet on a monthly basis to weed around the plants we’ve planted in past years, and we also schedule planting days at both lakes.

The Unit meets for 1.75 hours on Monday afternoons during school term from 4.30pm to 6.15pm and caters for girls between the ages of 5 and 10. Girl Guide Leaders are role models that provide support to young girls to help them discover their potential as young leaders of their world.
